An estimated 4 million youngsters in Turkey have been affected by the earthquakes in February. The catastrophe pressured them to see dying and tragedy up shut – many for the primary time. As the brand new faculty 12 months begins, there’s hope that the classroom will deliver again a way of routine and normalcy. However the trauma of the previous eight months has not gone away, with youngsters persevering with to cope with displacement, grief, and anxiousness. Consultants warn that if the psychological well being of those youngsters just isn’t dealt with fastidiously, there might be long-term penalties.
