Donald Trump’s marketing campaign has accused British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Labour Social gathering of “blatant overseas interference” within the U.S. presidential election after its volunteers travelled to the US to assist marketing campaign for Kamala Harris.
The marketing campaign has filed a grievance with the Federal Election Fee in Washington, calling for a right away investigation into what it referred to as “obvious unlawful overseas nationwide contributions made by the Labour Social gathering of the UK and accepted by Harris for President”.
The grievance cited media stories and a now deleted LinkedIn publish from Sofia Patel, head of operations at Britain’s Labour Social gathering, who wrote that “practically 100” present and former Labour celebration workers can be travelling to the U.S. within the coming weeks to assist elect Harris, the Democratic vice-president.
“These trying to find overseas interference in our elections have to look no additional than [the] LinkedIn publish,” the letter of grievance mentioned. “The interference is happening in plain sight.”
