Jordanian band Naya and Egyptian group The Girl’s Drum are among the many trailblazers making a reputation for themselves and performing to huge, new audiences.
We go backstage with each teams – sharing the ache of lengthy rehearsals and interminable bus journeys, and the enjoyment and adrenalin of reside performances and life away from the stage and highlight.
