A person arrested over a lethal bow and arrow assault in Norway had transformed to Islam and there have been fears he had been radicalised, police have mentioned.
The 37-year-old Danish citizen is accused of killing 4 girls and a person on Wednesday night time within the southern city of Kongsberg.
He was arrested and questioned for a number of hours in a single day.
Regional police chief Ole Bredrup Saeverud mentioned officers had final been in contact with the person in 2020.
The victims have been all aged between 50 and 70, Chief Saeverud informed reporters on Thursday morning.
