North Korea has fired a suspected intercontinental ballistic missile Japanese and South Korean officers report.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, talking on the Nato summit described these actions as a risk to “Japan, the area and the worldwide group” following the missile touchdown in Japanese waters.
Pyongyang’s launch comes after it threatened retaliation towards what it mentioned had been latest US spy airplane incursions over its territory.
Washington has dismissed the accusations, saying its navy patrols are in step with worldwide regulation.
