Georgia and Florida are battling quite a few wildfires which have destroyed properties and compelled evacuations.
On Wednesday, firefighters in Georgia had responded to 34 new blazes that had burned 75 acres statewide, in accordance with the state’s Forestry Fee. The Pineland Highway Fireplace in Clinch County has grown to just about 30,000 acres and is barely 10% contained.
In Florida, firefighters say the state is experiencing one in all its worst fireplace seasons in a long time, with greater than 130 lively wildfires. Officers in each states cite dry circumstances, excessive winds, and a scarcity of rain as key elements making the fires tough to manage.
