TERRIFIED British holidaymakers have advised of being trapped in a resort by livid anti-tourist protesters.
Hundreds of demonstrators swarmed resorts on the Canary Islands on Sunday.

Lee Pattemore, 44, was trapped contained in the Riu resort with spouse Stacey, 39, and their two daughters, aged 11 and 6.

In Tenerife’s Playa de las Americas, 2,000 activists stormed Troya Seashore, surrounding shocked Brits of their swimwear and chanting: “This seaside is ours.”
Protesters additionally marched in La Palma, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and El Hierro underneath the slogan “The Canaries Have A Restrict” — calling for a extra sustainable tourism.
They are saying locals are priced out of the housing market and tourism is ruining the atmosphere.
Activist Daniel Cabrera stated: “We would like tourism — we don’t want over-exploitation and rubbish tourism that doesn’t profit the native financial system.”
