The Meals Financial institution of Japanese Oklahoma celebrated its volunteers with an appreciation luncheon, recognizing the hundreds who assist hold its operations working year-round.
About 120 individuals attended the occasion, which highlighted the contributions of each people and teams devoted to combating starvation throughout the area.
1000’s Contribute Time and Effort
Organizers mentioned roughly 12,000 volunteers donated their time over the previous 12 months. Their work included sorting and packing meals, helping on the meals financial institution’s free farmers market and supporting its culinary program.
Recognizing Excellent Service
The luncheon served as a possibility to thank those that went above and past of their service, acknowledging the important function volunteers play in sustaining the group’s mission.
