David Gordon Inexperienced’s new dramedy starring Ben Stiller will kick off the 2024 Toronto Worldwide Movie Competition.
TIFF organizers say “Nutcrackers” would be the opening-night movie on Sept. 5.
The movie follows Stiller as a career-driven man who unexpectedly finds himself accountable for his mischievous orphaned nephews.
In the meantime, Insurgent Wilson’s directorial debut, “The Deb,” will shut the pageant on Sept. 15.
The unique musical comedy follows two teenage cousins in a small Australian nation city as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and search dates for his or her Debutante Ball.
“Nutcrackers” and “The Deb” be part of beforehand introduced TIFF movies together with Amy Adams’ feral darkish comedy “Nightbitch,” rock documentary “Elton John: By no means Too Late” and LeBron James-produced Indigenous basketball drama “Rez Ball.”
