Not less than two folks have died after heavy rains lashed Spain, triggering flash floods that compelled the closure of Madrid metro traces and high-speed rail hyperlinks.
Helicopters have been despatched to rescue individuals who had sought refuge on the roofs of their properties in Toledo, about 50km (31 miles) southwest of Madrid, on Monday.
The sudden downpours on Sunday and Monday remodeled streets into rivers of mud that swept away vehicles and garbage bins in Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia and Valencia areas.
