A person has died following a low-speed collision involving two trains in Wales, British Transport Police (BTP) has confirmed.
An extra 15 individuals have been taken to hospital with accidents not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, the power stated.
All different passengers have been been evacuated from each trains.
The crash occurred close to the village of Llanbrynmair, in Powys, at round 19:30 BST on Monday.
The providers concerned have been the 18:31 from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and the 19:09 from Machynlleth to Shrewsbury.
Visitors Wales stated the A470 was closed in each instructions between Caersws and Glantwymyn, whereas Transport for Wales stated rail substitute providers have been in operation.
The incident was attended by the ambulance and hearth providers, native police, and the coastguard, with help from the rail business, BTP stated in a press release.
Residents reported seeing an air ambulance on the scene.
BTP stated the household of the person who died had been knowledgeable and was being supported by specialist officers.
