Russian President Vladimir Putin met mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin after the failed Wagner group mutiny final month, the Kremlin has mentioned.
Prigozhin, who heads the mercenary group, was amongst 35 Wagner commanders invited to the assembly in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added.
He mentioned that President Putin had given an “evaluation” of the Ukraine warfare effort and the mutiny.
Underneath a deal to finish the mutiny, which noticed Wagner troops seize a metropolis and march on Moscow, costs in opposition to Prigozhin had been dropped and he was provided a transfer to Belarus.
