You are my resting place. « A Call To The Remnant

I wrote this at present from my meditations on the Lord and my nice need to remain in that quiet place with Him. That is the place everlasting life is, it doesn’t matter what storms we discover ourselves in.

You're my resting place
And deep inside these realms of grace
You're so very close to
You good love casts out all concern
And deep inside this very veil 
The place there isn't any concern and no travail
I will throw the traces and I will set sail
Into the depths of your coronary heart
You're my resting place
I discover in you a heat embrace
Your peace alone is my one need
That stands with me within the midst of the fireplace
So when thunder crashes in offended skies
I will pay no heed nor carry my eyes
To you alone I will forged my gaze
Past the storm and above the waves
You're my resting place
It is there I look upon your face
You are my anchor Lord, throughout the veil
Your good adore it by no means fails
So when lightening fractures the skies above
The heavens shall open and rain down with love
And I will be soaked in your heavenly dew
As your hand takes maintain and carries me via
So Lord you're my resting place
And I am awash in a sea of grace
And when the storm is gone and there's no hint
I will sail on, into the depths of your coronary heart.
