A new wildfire flared and slowly expanded within the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday night.
By Thursday morning, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass stated weaker winds allowed for air operations and “enabled important progress towards the fires in Hollywood and Studio Metropolis final night time.”
A number of fires have been burning throughout Los Angeles.
The Sundown Fireplace prompted evacuation orders encompassing a densely populated space, together with main landmarks such because the TCL Chinese language Theatre and the Dolby Theatre, the house of the Academy Awards, extending to a bit of Hollywood Boulevard. (Supply: Related Press)
