Ukraine and Russia have signed “mirror” offers which can enable Kyiv to renew exports of grain by means of the Black Sea.
The settlement will enable thousands and thousands of tonnes of grain, presently trapped in Ukraine by the struggle, to be exported.
The world scarcity of Ukrainian grain since Russia’s 24 February invasion has left thousands and thousands liable to starvation.
