UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has ordered an investigation into the disclosures made concerning the tax affairs of the Conservative Celebration chairman Nadhim Zahawi.
Mr Zahawi is dealing with calls to resign, after it emerged he paid a penalty over beforehand unpaid tax within the UK whereas he was chancellor, as a part of a multi-million pound dispute.
He stated he was “assured” he had “acted correctly all through”.
