Gibraltar has been a supply of friction between the UK and Spain ever because it was captured by Britain in 1704 throughout the Battle of Spanish Succession.
The British Abroad Territory was overlooked of the everlasting post-Brexit deal which now governs the UK’s relations with the EU.
As an alternative, it has been working on advert hoc preparations ever since, however at Davos Spain’s Overseas minister mentioned that London and Madrid had been near discovering a definitive answer settling the post-Brexit standing of Gibraltar.
