A WEATHER warning has been issued for components of Malaga on Monday, together with the Costa del Sol.
In accordance with state climate company AEMET, as much as 25mm of rain might fall within the area of an hour.
These showers could also be accompanied by storms and even hail in some inland areas.
AEMET has issued a yellow climate warning for a majority of the Costa del Sol, between Sotogrande and Malaga metropolis.
The areas affected embody the vacation hotspots of Marbella, Estepona, Benalmadena and Torremolinos.
The Cadiz shoreline between Barbate and San Roque can be below the identical alert, which is in place from midnight tonight till 9pm on Monday.
