A Black pastor in Alabama says he was arrested whereas watering his neighbor’s flowers — and his lawyer has referred to as the incident “irrational, irresponsible, and unlawful.”
In police physique digital camera footage from Could and launched final week, an officer is seen approaching the person, Michael Jennings, who tells the officer he has been requested to water the flowers whereas a neighbor is gone.
Within the video that has since gone viral, Jennings, of Childersburg, Alabama, is requested by the officer what he’s doing on the home and whose automobile is within the driveway. He says it is the neighbor’s car and identifies himself as “Pastor Jennings” with out being requested
