Rev Dr Paul Chamberlain stands accused of “ruining” Christmas by indignant mother and father after he instructed yr 6 pupils that “Santa isn’t actual”.
He has since apologised after the sermon apparently introduced the festive followers to tears.
The vicar was addressing yr six at Lee-on-the-Solent Junior Faculty in Hampshire as a customer from the close by St Religion’s Church.
He’s stated to have instructed them: “You are all yr six, now let’s be actual, Santa is not actual”.
Rev Dr Chamberlain can be claimed to have instructed the children their mother and father had been liable for scoffing the cookies many kids miss for Father Christmas on Christmas Eve.

In the meantime, mother and father have acquired an e-mail from the varsity claiming the lecturers are actually ensuring to inform kids “all tales and legends round Christmas’ had been professional.”

“Paul has accepted that this was an error of judgment and he mustn’t have completed so.
“He apologised unreservedly to the varsity, to the mother and father and the kids and the headteacher instantly wrote to all mother and father to clarify this.
“The college and diocese have labored collectively to deal with this challenge, and the headteacher has now written to folks a second time, sending them Paul’s apology.”
