NEW DELHI: Delhi College’s Veer Savarkar Faculty will reserve two seats in every course for candidates from Najafgarh’s Roshanpura village that has donated land for the brand new establishment. A type of seats can be for women to advertise gender inclusion. Located merely 5 minutes away from DU’s West Campus, Veer Savarkar Faculty is being constructed at an estimated price of Rs 140 crore and covers a built-up space of 18,816.56 sq. metres.
“In a really optimistic and progressive step, the college has determined to order two seats per course for youngsters of those that gave their land for the institution of the faculty. Out of the 2 seats, one seat can be for a woman pupil,” DU Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh informed PTI.
The campus will home 24 school rooms, eight tutorial rooms, 40 college rooms, division libraries, convention rooms and a canteen.

“We’re beginning two four-year UG packages — BSc Laptop Science and Bachelor of Enterprise Administration (BBA) — at Veer Savarkar College for this educational session and in each, two seats can be reserved for college students from Roshanpura village,” Singh mentioned. The VC added that this reservation will proceed even when extra programs are launched within the faculty.
