The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Meals Security and Inspection Service (USDA-FSIS) has introduced new management. On July 3, 2025, Secetary Brooke Rollins appointed Justin Ransom, Ph.D. as FSIS Administrator, taking up for Denise Eblen, Ph.D., who will proceed to serve within the FSIS Workplace of the Administrator as Deputy Administrator.
Dr. Ransom has greater than 20 years of expertise holding strategic management tasks in meals security, high quality techniques, animal welfare, and sustainability.
