President Zelensky has thanked the US after Washington agreed to provide cluster bombs to Ukraine.
It is a weapon that has been banned by greater than one-hundred nations world wide.
However Ukraine has been urgent for the artillery shells which drop a number of explosives to assist with their counter offensive towards Russian forces.
Russia has been utilizing the weapons because the begin of the battle.
Human rights teams say cluster bombs kill indiscriminately and unexploded units can pose a hazard to civilians for a few years.
