South Africa introduced on Saturday that its US ambassador had been given a 72-hour ultimatum to depart the nation. This comes after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused him of being “a race-baiting politician who hates America and hates Trump,” in a publish on X. Rubio reposted an article quoting the envoy as saying Trump was main a white supremacist motion. Reposting it, Rubio declared that Rasool was “now not welcome” in the US. The expelled envoy, Ebrahim Rasool, is a former anti-apartheid campaigner and an ally of Nelson Mandela. South Africa has referred to as the choice to expel Rasool “regrettable.” An official assertion from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s workplace urges “diplomatic decorum” between the 2 nations.
