Territorial Acknowledgement
The College of Alberta, its buildings, labs and analysis stations are primarily situated on the territory of the Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are actually generally known as a part of Treaties 6, 7 and eight and homeland of the Métis. The College of Alberta respects the sovereignty, lands, histories, languages, data techniques and cultures of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit nations.
