United Airlines will cancel 35 roundtrip flights a day from its schedule at Newark Liberty Worldwide Airport in New Jersey after 1000’s of passengers confronted hourslong delays this week, CEO Scott Kirby mentioned Friday, blaming the disruptions on air site visitors controller staffing shortages and the Federal Aviation Administration’s know-how issues.
