Ukraine’s President Volodymr Zelensky says he has had a “lengthy and significant” phone name with China’s President Xi Jinping.
It’s the first contact between the 2 since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
China confirmed the decision, including that it “at all times stood on the aspect of peace”.
Not like the West, Beijing has sought to seem impartial on the Russian invasion and has by no means condemned it.
