Russia is “possible” to now be in management many of the salt-mining city of Soledar in Ukraine’s east after a months-long battle with Ukrainian forces, the UK’s Ministry of Defence has mentioned.
Russian troops and the mercenary Wagner Group have made advances up to now 4 days, the UK has mentioned.
Soledar is close to Bakhmut, the place Ukraine can be locked in battle.
President Zelensky mentioned there was “virtually no life” in Soledar, with “no complete partitions left”.
