UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, following her loss of life, aged 96.
Talking outdoors Downing Avenue, she described the Queen as “a rock on which trendy Britain was constructed,” including: “Britain is the nice nation it’s right this moment due to her”.
She mentioned the Queen was a private inspiration to her in addition to many Britons. “Her devotion to responsibility is an instance to us all.”
