The College of Central Missouri (UCM) Gallery of Artwork and Design presents “The ReCollection,” a solo present by Montana artist Jeremy Hatch on show Oct. 6-27.
Hatch grew up within the Eighties, a time he calls the “Golden Period” of motion figures, corresponding to He-Man, G.I. Joe, Star Wars and lots of extra. Hatch is interested in how this phenomenon affected his era and has been exploring these penalties in his studio. He launched into an expansive undertaking to recast his complete childhood toy assortment in porcelain. Hatch is a Canadian-born artist who works with porcelain to create sculpture and installations.
