5 former Memphis cops charged with homicide over the dying of Tyre Nichols have pleaded not responsible of their first courtroom look.
Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr, Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith had been concerned within the arrest of Mr Nichols on 7 January.
They had been fired after an inside investigation by the Memphis Police Division.
Mr Nichols’ dying sparked protests in opposition to police brutality within the US.
