US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in Israel on his first journey to the Center East as America’s prime diplomat.
He is set to fulfill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the coming hours.
Rubio landed shortly after the most recent alternate of Israeli captives for Palestinian detainees.
His journey additionally comes as President Donald Trump pushes his extensively condemned plan for a US takeover of the Gaza Strip.
