U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Monday (August 11, 2025) that his assembly with Russian President Vladimir Putin this Friday (August 15, 2025) in Alaska shall be a “feel-out assembly” geared toward urging Russia to finish the battle in Ukraine.
“So I am getting in to talk to Vladimir Putin, and I will be telling him, you have to finish this battle. You have to finish it,” Mr. Trump instructed reporters.
Mr. Trump additionally stated a future assembly might embody Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
