The Supreme Courtroom dominated Friday that President Donald Trump can terminate the protected standing of round 500,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who had fled their dwelling international locations pending the result of an enchantment of the president’s order.
Trump, on his first day again within the White Home on Jan. 20, had ordered the Division of Homeland Safety to terminate all so-called “categorical parole packages,” which had granted these immigrants protections from deportations from the USA.
