The US Home of Representatives voted 218-214 to cross a large home coverage invoice pushed by President Donald Trump.
The laws extends tax cuts enacted throughout Trump’s first time period, will increase spending on navy and border safety, and shrinks spending on social safety net programs. It now heads to Trump’s desk, and the president plans to signal it at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Two Republicans voted in opposition to the invoice together with all 212 Home Democrats.
