TRAVELLERS proceed to stay at an unlawful encampment within the automobile park of a nature reserve in Worcester, regardless of warnings that the council is beginning enforcement produces.
The group arrived on the automobile park of Perry Wooden Nature Reserve, Liverpool Highway, Ronkswood, at round midnight on Thursday (March 27) with residents being awoken by the sound of canines barking.
On Friday, Worcester Metropolis Council made a press release in regards to the camp.
A spokesperson for town council stated: “Travellers have illegally occupied a website off Liverpool Highway. Council officers, supported by police, have visited and carried out welfare checks.
“We’re beginning enforcement procedures to regain possession of the land.”
Regardless of these warnings, the travellers stay on website, with guests to the character reserve recognizing the caravans nonetheless parked within the automobile park on Sunday (March 30).
