Curated by James Surls, the exhibition options works by 21 of Texas’ most distinguished artists, representing a variety of mediums, types, and creative legacies. Taking part artists embrace Terry Allen, John Alexander, Lynn Randolph, Sherry Owens, Billy Hassell, Sharon Kopriva, Ellen Tanner, Helen Altman, Ann Stautberg, James Drake, Invoice Haveron, Carlos Canul, Tracye Put on, Jack Massing, Julie Velocity, Charmaine Locke, Melissa Miller, Jim Love, David McManaway, Paul Manes, and James Surls.
Collectively, these artists showcase the depth and vibrancy of Texas’s artistic panorama. The exhibition explores themes of nature, psychology, and the human expertise, presenting works that spotlight the pure world, together with birds, flowers, bushes, and different natural types. As a celebration of the legacy and imaginative and prescient of James Surls and Charmaine Locke, Heard of G.O.A.T.’s is a testomony to essentially the most influential names in Texas artwork.”

“The 2025 San Angelo Ceramic Invitational Exhibition and Symposium occasions will happen April 23-27 and are hosted by the San Angelo Museum of Superb Arts, Angelo State College, The Concho Clay Studio, The Rooster Farm Artwork Heart, and the Mayer Museum. Supporting contributors are Downtown San Angelo, Inc., San Angelo Conference and Guests Bureau, The Artwork Spirit Collective, and Artwork in Unusual Locations.
The fortieth Annual San Angelo Ceramic Symposium that includes Workshop Presenters and Panelists, Ruth Wilson, Ariel Bowman, Eliza Au, and Bri Murphy will happen April 25 from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm on the Robert and Nona Carr Schooling-Superb Arts Constructing in Room 101. The symposium is free and open to the general public.

Residence, Love, and Loss is the third in a sequence of American artwork exhibitions created via a multiyear, multi-institutional partnership shaped by the Amon Carter Museum of American Artwork as a part of the Artwork Bridges Cohort Program.”
