State completes $300M house eight years after Legionnaires’ outbreak.
(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Eight years after the lethal Legionnaire’s illness outbreak on the veterans’ house in Quincy, Gov. Pritzker reduce the ribbon on practically $300 million price of development.
State Rep. Kyle Moore (R-Quincy), the town’s mayor through the disaster, stated, “We had been involved that there have been politicians on each side of the aisle who known as for completely closing this Quincy veterans’ house,” in place since 1886.
“This has been the most important and most vital constructing mission in our Rebuild Illinois capital development program, stated the governor, including, “There’s nothing political a couple of veterans’ house.”
