To the editor: What a research in contrasts. (“Kennedy Jr. suspends his presidential bid, endorses Trump. How will it affect the race?” Aug. 23)
Concurrently, the Democrats emphasize neighbors working collectively whereas the Republicans emphasize a person getting forward and bettering himself. It’s the distinction between “we” and “me.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. bought himself out for a promise from former President Trump that he would have a key job in his administration. Doesn’t Kennedy understand that Trump is extra well-known for firing folks and going again on his guarantees than fulfilling them?
I labored for Kennedy’s father. It’s a disgrace what his son has completed to besmirch his identify. Maybe Kennedy can now select one other identify, just like Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance, in order that the Kennedy identify may be preserved in politics.

To the editor: As somebody sufficiently old to recollect the compassion that Robert F. Kennedy exuded, the causes for which he advocated and the forgotten and marginalized folks whom he championed.
Please please cease referring to the person who not too long ago suspended his marketing campaign to endorse Trump as “RFK Jr.” As a substitute, consult with him as “Mr. Kennedy” or “legal professional Kennedy” or “Robert Kennedy,” and protect “RFK” because the time period of endearment it’s, meant for the gone-too-soon (and nonetheless sorely missed) junior senator from New York.
That’s his deal with. The son isn’t match to shine the daddy’s sneakers.
