Singapore has executed a person for conspiring to visitors hashish regardless of pleas for clemency from his household, activists and the United Nations.
Tangaraju Suppiah, 46, was hanged at daybreak on Wednesday over a plot to smuggle 1kg (35oz) of hashish.
Activists mentioned he had been convicted on weak proof and obtained restricted authorized entry throughout his prosecution.
However Singapore authorities mentioned he had been given a good trial and criticised those that questioned the courts.
