Sudan’s ongoing battle has left many areas within the capital crammed with unexploded ordnance (UXOs), together with mortar, tank, and artillery shells. These defective explosives, which didn’t detonate upon firing, pose a major risk to civilians, particularly in residential areas. For the reason that preventing between the military and the Speedy Assist Forces started, over 100 folks have died from UXO-related explosions. The Sudanese authorities is working to clear UXOs in areas it controls, however removing stays tough in areas below RSF management. The hazard from these remnants of conflict may persist for years.
