The World Meals Programme (WFP) has estimated that $13 million to $14 million value of meals merchandise destined to individuals in want in Sudan have been looted since combating broke out final month.
“We have estimated that near 17,000 metric tons have been looted, some in our warehouses, whereas others on wheels,” Nation director Eddie Rowe stated.
“This could translate to about 13 or 14 million U.S. {dollars} – simply the price of the meals. Virtually day-after-day we’re receiving experiences of extra looting.”
