A Turkish evacuation airplane coming into land at an airbase outdoors Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, has been fired at, Turkey’s defence ministry confirms.
No-one was injured and it landed safely at Wadi Seidna, the place it was being checked.
Sudan’s military blamed paramilitary fighters for firing on the plane and damaging its gas system.
The Speedy Help Forces (RSF) denied the allegation, saying it was dedicated to the prolonged humanitarian truce.
