College students locked the examination centre, declaring, “If we will not sit for the examination, nobody will.”
NEW DELHI: Tensions flared at Delhi College’s Legislation College on Tuesday after about 150 college students had been denied admit playing cards for the upcoming exams as a consequence of low attendance. The state of affairs escalated late at evening when a bunch of scholars allegedly broke into the examination division.
By morning, they locked the examination centre, declaring, “If we will not sit for the examination, nobody will.” On account of the disruption, the examination scheduled for 9.30 am was delayed by two hours. These denied admit playing cards included scholar leaders from each the ABVP and NSUI.
Later, the Delhi University administration intervened and broke the lock and performed the examination. The scholars who didn’t have admit playing cards weren’t allowed in.
