A canine skilled in Wales has begun working in South Africa to cease poaching.
Indy, an English springer spaniel, was bred and skilled at Canines 4 Wildlife in Carmarthenshire to detect caches of bushmeat hidden by poachers.
To this point, the organisation has despatched 12 canine to 4 African nations.
In March, Indy began her new job preventing rhino poachers in Mankwe Wildlife reserve, South Africa.
A complete of 451 rhinos have been poached within the nation in 2021, in line with the federal government of South Africa.
Many of the poaching feeds the illicit commerce in bushmeat and rhino horn.
