Two robotic arms connected to the launch tower caught its heavy booster, because it returned to the touchdown pad.
It is the primary time this has been achieved.
Starship is the most important rocket ever constructed.
It is designed for crewed and cargo missions – with each the spacecraft and the rocket supposed to be reused, after returning to Earth.
Scott Walter is a mechanical and aerospace engineer and watched the launch.
