Thailand has appointed a brand new negotiator in peace talks to attempt to resolve the unrest within the south.
The battle between Malay separatists in search of secession and the federal government dates again 20 years.
The brand new appointment is regarded as extra acceptable to Malaysian mediators and the primary insurgent group, the BRN.
However when these talks resume, they may face main challenges.
