Regional rivals Somalia and Ethiopia held their first technical talks in Turkey aimed toward resolving a dispute and defusing tensions within the Horn of Africa. Turkey has lengthy been an advocate for stability within the area. These talks mark a important step in the direction of implementing the Ankara Declaration signed in December 2024.
