The Tonga Geological Companies have launched pictures exhibiting plumes of smoke and ash from an earlier eruption of the underwater volcano off the Polynesian archipelago of Tonga. The photographs had been taken earlier than the second large eruption on Saturday, which triggered a tsunami and killed at the very least two individuals.
