Small Acts, Massive Influence
Within the quiet hum of morning’s gentle,
A single spark ignites the night time.
No grand design, no thunderous roar,
Simply fingers that open, hearts that soar.
A seed is planted within the earth,
A gesture small, but brimming with price.
A phrase of kindness, mushy and clear,
To thrust back a stranger’s worry.
The ripple begins the place silence breeds,
In tiny deeds, in humble seeds.
A smile exchanged, a handheld tight,
Can flip the tide, can start the sunshine.
For each drop that fills the ocean,
Begins its journey quietly.
Every act, a thread in life’s huge weave,
A thread that lifts, that helps imagine.
The butterfly, with fragile wings,
Its whisper stirs the winds it brings.
So too, the soul that dares to care,
Can shift the world, can mend despair.
A meal shared with a hungry stray,
A doorstep swept the place youngsters play.
A second lent to ease the ache,
Solar after days of limitless rain.
The world is constructed on small, courageous selections,
On numerous, unheralded voices.
Every step, a path; every phrase, a flame,
Collectively, they rewrite the body.
For what’s energy if not this—
The braveness to persist, to kiss
The injuries of life with tender grace,
To carve a smile on sorrow’s face?
So dare to like, to offer, to begin,
To sew compassion into coronary heart.
For each act, nevertheless small,
Can shatter partitions, can conquer all.
Infinite change begins with one,
A single thread beneath the solar.
So weave your thread, your gentle, your fireplace,
And watch the world rise, soul by soul, increased.
